The highest growth rates of construction work performed by the informal sector in January-June 2022 were noted in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (129.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2021), Surkhandarya region (114.0% compared to the same period last year) and Kashkadarya region ( 113.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2021).

In January-June 2022, the share of construction work performed in the informal sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 16.9% of the total, which is 1.3% less when compared with the corresponding period in 2021. 

In January-June 2022, 41.5 trillion soums of investments in fixed assets, or 34.1% of their total volume, were disbursed from the own funds of enterprises and organizations.

In the structure of investments in fixed assets disbursed from centralized sources of financing in January-June 2022, the share of investments through foreign loans guaranteed by the Republic of Uzbekistan in the total volume of investments in fixed assets amounted to 4.2%.
