As of October 1, 2021, the share of enterprises and organizations operating in the field of healthcare and social services in the total number of enterprises and organizations amounted to 1.9 percent (10 305).

The newspaper «Янги Ўзбекистон» No.208 of October 20, 2021 published an article dedicated to a round table with the participation of international experts entitled “Openness and transparency of the activities of government agencies: the experience of Uzbekistan and foreign practices.”

In the “Statistical Potential Index” of the World Bank, which assesses the level of development of national statistical systems of countries, Uzbekistan took 61st place out of 154 countries with 67.8 points.

        At the end of 2020, the gross added value of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 151 250.9 billion soums and, compared to 2016, increased by 7.6 %. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GDP decreased from 32.1% to 27.1%.

At the beginning of the 2020/2021 academic year, the total number of students in educational institutions is 6287.9 thousand people, of which 3052.9 thousand (48.6%) are girls and 3235.0 thousand are boys (51.4%).

In our republic, in January-September, the number of newly created enterprises and organizations (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) increased by 3.2 times compared to the corresponding period in 2016, the following was noted in the context of years:

In January-September of this year, construction work was completed in the Republic of Uzbekistan for a total of 76,890.7 billion soums, the growth rate compared to January-September 2020 was 104.5%.

In January-September 2021, compared with the corresponding period of last year, there was an increase in investment activity, the growth rate of the development of investments in fixed assets amounted to 105.0%.

Compared to 2010, the volume of services in the Tashkent region in 2020 increased by 14 185.0 billion soums and was equal to16 438.3 billion soums. In 2020, the share of the volume of services in the Tashkent region in the total volume of market services provided amounted to 7.5%.

In 2020, the volume of construction work carried out by small enterprises and microfirms amounted to 43599.6 billion soums.

In 2020, 32.7 thousand kitchen furniture were produced in Uzbekistan.

On October 19 this year, at the Palace of Youth Creativity, a round table was held with the participation of international experts on the topic "Openness and transparency of the activities of state bodies: the experience of Uzbekistan and foreign practice."

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710, from November 1 to 25, 2021, in the Khojaabad district of the Andijan region, the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, the City of Khiva, the Khorezm region and the Yashnabad district of the City of Tashkent, it is planned to conduct a pilot census.

In January-September 2021, compared to the corresponding period of last year, there was an increase in investment activity, the growth rate of the development of investments in fixed assets amounted to 105.0%. 

In January-September 2021, 1.1 million tons of fruits and vegetables were exported in the amount of 625 million US dollars.

In January-June 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in construction in the Samarkand region amounted to 1,377.5 billion soums and, compared to the same period last year, increased by 10.5%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP amounted to 6.7% and, compared to January-June 2017, increased by 1.4 percentage points.

In January-September of this year,the volume of construction work performed in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 76 890.7 billion soums, and the growth rate in relation to the corresponding period of 2020 reached 104.5%.
