In the Republic of Uzbekistan for January-September 2023, the largest number of newly created small enterprises and micro-firms was noted in the city of Tashkent - 12,376 units or 18.3% of the total number of newly created small enterprises and micro-firms.

On November 13-17 of this year, a delegation from the Korean Statistics Office “Korea Statistics” is on a practical visit to Uzbekistan to further expand cooperation and exchange experience on bilateral issues in the field of statistics.

The volume of transportation of small enterprise (business) cargo in the Republic of Uzbekistan for January-September 2023 amounted to 479.8 million tons, or 109.0% of the corresponding period of the previous year.

In January-September 2023, in the structure of total income of the population of the Fergana region, a significant share is made up of income from labor activity 58.7%, income from transfers 33.3%, as well as income from the production of services for own consumption and income from property 8.0 %.

As of October 1, 2023, there are 22 special economic zones (hereinafter – SEZ), 323 directorates of small industrial zones (hereinafter – SIZ), 24 technopark and 450 clusters in the country, which included: 752 enterprises in the SEZ, SIZ – 2 488, technoparks – 1 501 and clusters – 455 enterprises.

For January-October 2023, the number of newly created small businesses (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) amounted to 74,331 units, and their dynamics in recent years was reflected in the following form:

In January-September 2023, in the Syrdarya region, 375 billion soums of investments were disbursed from centralized sources of financing, and their share in the total volume was 4.1%.
