According to preliminary data, the total number of birds in the republic as of October 1, 2023 reached 97,166.8 thousand heads.
This figure compared to the same period in 2022 was 106.5 %.
A significant share of the total bird population is in the Tashkent region (16.2 %).
At the same time, high bird numbers were noted in Samarkand (12.7 %) and Andijan (10.5 %) regions.
