As part of the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2025, the necessary measures are being implemented to introduce advanced quality management systems into the national statistical system.

In the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-September 2023, large enterprises produced 4,660.6 tons of yogurt. Compared to the corresponding period in 2022, production volume increased by 10.2%.

As of January-September 2023, in the Samarkand region, 76.9% of households have children under 16 years of age.

In January-September 2023, in the Jizzakh region, through non-centralized sources of financing, 9.0 trillion sum investment amount and compared to the corresponding period last year amounted to 125.1%.

In total, construction work worth 4.8 trillion sum was completed in the Navoi region from January to September 2023.

For January-September 2023, in the volume of communication and information services, the largest share falls on telecommunications services (wired and mobile communication services, Internet networks, etc.). Their share was 56.7%.

As of January 1, 2023, in the Khorezm region there are 3.5 thousand sports facilities, 0.6 thousand physical education groups, 36 sports and educational institutions.

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 5, 2019 “On approval of the concept of conducting a population census in 2022 in the Republic of Uzbekistan,” it was planned to conduct a population census in our republic in 2022. On March 16, 2020, the Law “On the Population Census” was adopted.

During January-September 2023 in the republic, the number of newly created enterprises and organizations in the accommodation and food services industry amounted to 4,440 units.
