In January-June 2024, the largest contribution to the formation of the republic’s GDP was made by the Tashkent city with a share of 19.0 %. Tashkent and Navoi regions occupy the next places with indicators of 10.2 % and 8.5 %, respectively. The smallest shares in the formation of the republic's GDP are the Syrdarya (1.9 %), Jizzakh (2.8 %) regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (2.8 %).
