As of May 1, 2023, the number of operating enterprises and organizations engaged in the activities of information and communication has reached 10,196 units, of which 9,817 units. (96.3% of their total number) are small businesses.

According to the results of January-March 2023, the gross value added in agriculture, forestry and fisheries in Surkhandarya region amounted to 1,914.6 billion soums and, compared to January-March 2022, increased by 3.0%.

In the republic, in January-May 2023, the number of newly created enterprises and organizations in the transportation and storage industry increased by 1.5 times compared to the corresponding period in 2022, and their dynamics over the past five years was reflected as follows:

In January-March 2023, 454.6 billion soums of investment were disbursed from centralized sources of financing in Surkhandarya region and, compared to the corresponding period last year, this amount amounted to 152.6%.

Dialogue with the people, organization of work, study of problems on the ground and the search for their solution based on the new system "Mahallabay" and "Fuqarobay", developed at the initiative of the Head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev, primarily contributes to improving the well-being of the population. As of January 1, 2023, the number of operating pools in the republic amounted to 331 swimming pools, most of them are located in Tashkent.

As of January-May 2023, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 77.6% of households have children under 16 years of age.

According to preliminary data, in January-May 2023, enterprises of the republic produced industrial products worth 231.2 trillion soums, the index of the physical volume of industrial production compared to the same period in 2022 amounted to 105.7%

As of April 1, 2023, in all categories of farms in the Syrdarya region, the total number of cattle amounted to 458.6 thousand heads (104.2% compared to April 1, 2022), of which 154.1 thousand heads are cows ( 104.7%), sheep and goats - 329.1 thousand heads (108.4%), horses - 16.7 thousand heads (108.2%) and birds - 2,999.7 thousand heads (100, 4 %).

According to preliminary data, the volume of market services provided in January-May 2023 reached 173 654.3 billion soums. Compared to the same period in 2022 (115.8%), the growth rate was 112.6%

As of June 1, 2023, the total number of enterprises and organizations engaged in construction activities in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 34 410 units. The largest number of construction enterprises – 6 891, or 20.0% of their total number, is concentrated in Tashkent city.

In January-April 2023, the volume of trade services rendered in the republic reached 31,353.0 billion soums, their share in the total volume of market services amounted to 23.6%.

According to the results of January-March 2023, the gross value added of industry in the Khorezm region amounted to 1,184.4 billion soums and, compared to January-March 2022, increased by 2.8%, and compared to January-March 2019, by 44.9%.

On June 19, 2023, an online meeting was held between representatives of the Agency for Statistics and representatives of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KAZSTAT) in order to exchange experience and get acquainted with the practice of organizing the collection of education statistics.

In total, in January-April 2023, large enterprises of the Republic of Uzbekistan produced 83.0 thousand pieces of jacks, compared with the corresponding period in 2022, the volume of production increased by 10.4%.

In January-March 2023, the volume of industrial production by small businesses in Andijan region amounted to 3468.8 billion soums, or 140.4% compared to January-March 2022.
