The highest growth rates of construction work performed by the informal sector in January-April 2022 were noted in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (137.4% compared to the corresponding period in 2021), Fergana region (129.5% compared to the same period last year) and Navoi region (120.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2021).

In January - March 2022, assimilated investments in fixed assets at the expense of foreign loans guaranteed by the Republic of Uzbekistan were noted in the amount of 1.5 trillion. UZS and, compared to the corresponding period of 2020, amounted to 61.6 %.

In January-April 2022, in the overall structure of the alternative population, the ICT service sector occupies 91.1%.

According to the results of January-March 2022, in the Kashkadarya region, the share of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the structure of GRP was 21.0%, industry - 23.5%, construction - 7.9% and services - 47.6%.

In January-April 2022, the share of construction work performed in the informal sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 15.0% of the total, which is 1.5% less when compared with the corresponding period in 2021.

In January-April 2022, 53.7 thousand tons of bananas were imported to Uzbekistan.

In terms of the number of enterprises operating in the republic in terms of organizational and legal form, family enterprises took the 3rd place, which, as of May 1, 2022, accounted for 11.3 percent of the total number of business entities. In January-March 2022, all categories of farms in the Navoi region produced 29.3 thousand tons of meat in live weight (102.7% compared to January-March 2021), 82.4 thousand tons of milk (103.2%), 75.5 million pieces eggs (103.1%), 1,886 tons of fish were caught (120.1%).

In January-April 2022, high growth was achieved in financial services (38.8%), communication and informatization services (24.3%), transport services (15.4%), related to real estate (10.8%), as well as other services (12.2%).

In January-April 2022, in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the volume of construction work performed amounted to 36516.1 billion soums, and the growth rate compared to the corresponding period in 2021 reached 106.9 %.

According to the results of January-March 2022, in the Bukhara region, the share of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the GRP structure amounted to 25.6%, industry - 20.7%, construction - 10.0% and services - 43.7%.
