On June 18, 2021, the Department of the Organization and Conduct of the Census Processes of the State Committee on Statistics organized a video conference aimed at improving the qualifications of employees of territorial departments.
The seminar, organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Ziyadullayev Maxmudjon Djurakulovich, was attended by heads of territorial statistical offices, employees of departments for organizing and conducting census processes, as well as regional and city departments of statistics.
The event discussed the state of advocacy work carried out in the regions, the ongoing work on updating maps of localities and lists of households with the clarification of the population.
At the seminar, the level of knowledge of employees of regional statistical offices was assessed on the adopted regulatory and methodological documents for conducting a population census.
Problems and shortcomings in the organization and conduct of the population census in the regions were also noted.
Goskomstat employees provided employees of territorial statistical offices with practical suggestions and recommendations.
