On June 22 of this year, an online meeting with representatives of the International Statistical Institute was held at the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics.
At the meeting, organized through the Zoom platform, the committee team headed by the Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Begalov Bakhodir Abdusalomovich and the group of experts headed by the President of the International Statistical Institute John Bailer discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, raising the interaction in the field of statistics to a new level.
John Bailer congratulated the Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Begalov Bakhodir Abdusalomovich on his election as the first member of the International Statistical Institute from the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As noted by Ada van Krimpen, Director of the International Statistical Institute, the current membership of the Chairman of the State Statistics Committee and the bilateral agreements on cooperation reached at today's meeting - provide the right to interact with all statisticians at the international level, use the opportunities of continuing education and professional development of the Institute, use of teaching aids, publications and other scientific articles of the International Statistical Institute, as well as participation and presentation of the International Statistical Institute at the World Congress of Statistics, regional congresses of statistics and other international conferences and seminars.
At an online meeting, representatives of both sides exchanged views on the latest reforms in the field of statistics. on the latest reforms in the field of statistics. In particular, the Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics and experts from the International Statistical Institute exchanged experiences, made suggestions and recommendations for the further development of the activities of statistical bodies.
The tasks that will be implemented in further cooperation have been determined.
