According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 36,686 Japanese citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January-September 2026.
This figure increased by almost 12.7 thousand people compared to the corresponding period last year.
The number of Japanese citizens who visited Uzbekistan during this period by purpose of travel is as follows:
tourism - 34,637 people
visiting relatives - 1,032 people
service - 902 people
training - 106 people
treatment - 8 people
commercial - 1 person
