On June 23-24, 2021, the International Forum on global inter-parliamentary cooperation in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals was held in Bukhara.
During the forum, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Statistics Ziyadullaev Mahmudjon Dzhurakulovich made a presentation on the collection, processing and dissemination of basic statistical data on the national Sustainable Development Goals, the census of the population of Uzbekistan, international experience in collecting statistical data, as well as establishing inter-parliamentary cooperation for the implementation of the SDGs.
- Ziyadullaev gave detailed information on the preparation of a statistical compendium on indicators of achieving the national Sustainable Development Goals in the Republic of Uzbekistan in Uzbek, Russian and English.
He also noted that the State Statistics Committee, with the technical support of the UN Development Program, has created a website on the National Sustainable Development Goals, which posts data in Uzbek, Russian and English.
