The Department for the Organization and Conduct of the Census Processes of the State Committee on Statistics is taking measures to implement the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 710 of November 11, 2020 “On measures for the preparation and conduct of the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023”.
In particular, in the Department of Statistics of Namangan region, under the leadership of the Head of the Department of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts Aziz Mamirov, together with the Head of the Department for Organization and Conduct of Census Processes Nurali Shukurov, an event was organized on the preparation for the population census in 2023, studying the state of preparation of cartographic materials necessary for use in this process.
During the event, issues were raised on the preparation of drawing plans for settlements. It was also noted that on the prepared maps it is necessary to clearly mark the boundaries of the existing makhalla gatherings of citizens, prepare their drawing plans on paper and electronic media, highlight the names of streets, apartment buildings and courtyards, residential and non-residential premises with special signs.
At the end of the event, appropriate instructions were given for the timely and high-quality implementation of the tasks identified in the program of comprehensive measures for the preparation and conduct of the population census in 2023.
