Under the leadership of K. Berdukulov, Head of the Department for Organization and Conduct of Census Processes of the State Committee on Statistics, a seminar on video conferencing with territorial statistical offices was organized.
The seminar was attended by heads of territorial statistical offices, departments of organizing and conducting census processes, as well as employees of district and city statistical departments.
The event discussed the shortcomings identified as a result of a comprehensive survey conducted in the regions from June 14 to June 30, the shortcomings in the work being carried out to prepare for the population census, the state of the propaganda work carried out in the regions, the work carried out to update the maps of settlements and lists of households with clarification population size.
At the seminar, the level of knowledge of employees of regional statistical offices was assessed on the adopted regulatory and methodological documents for conducting a population census.
Goskomstat employees provided employees of territorial statistical offices with practical suggestions and recommendations.
