In January - June 2021, 34,318.6 million kWh of electricity were produced in the republic. Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the volume of electricity production increased by 2,875.4 million kWh, the growth rate was 109.1 percent.
For information, electricity generation in 2021:
- in January 6,427.7 million kWh (growth rate 106.0%);
- in January-February 11,951.4 million kWh (growth rate of 104.3 percent);
- in January-March 17,987.4 million kWh (growth rate of 106.1%);
- in January-April 23,528.4 million kWh (growth rate 108.5%);
- in January-May 28,809.1 million kWh (growth rate 109.1%)
In the total volume of electricity produced by enterprises for the production of electricity in the republic, the Syrdarya region has a share of 23.5%, the Tashkent region – 22.2%, the Kashkadarya region – 19.5% and the Navoi region – 15.8%.
