The volume of livestock production in January-June 2021 amounted to 66 679.9 billion soums, or 104.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2020. In the total volume of agricultural production, the share of livestock products amounted to 59.3%.
In January-June 2021, all categories of farms produced 1,191.5 thousand tons of meat in live weight (4.4% more compared to January-June 2020), 5,065.5 thousand tons of milk (by 4, 5%), 3 399.6 mln. eggs (by 0.1%).
Analyzing the regions with a significant share in the production of livestock products, it should be noted that in the republic 12.3% of the total volume of meat production falls on the Tashkent region, 13.0% of milk – in the Samarkand region, 18.0% of eggs – in the Tashkent region.
