According to the results of January-June 2021, the increase in the GRP of the Jizzakh region amounted to 4.9% and reached 8,877.2 billion soums.
In the sectoral structure of GRP, the growth rates were: in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 100.8% (share in the structure of GRP - 46.3%), industry - 114.7% (13.1%), construction - 105.8 % (7.1%) and the service sector - 106.6% (33.5%). The volume of GRP per capita increased by 2.8% and amounted to 6,261.7 thousand soums.
