In January-June 2021, 4,724.0 thousand tons of grain crops were produced, of which 4,634.1 thousand tons or 98.1% of the total production of grain crops were grain-ear crops.
The largest volume of grain ear production was recorded in farms - 3,944.9 thousand tons, or 83.5% of the total volume of their production.
A significant share of the total volume of grain crops belongs to the Surkhandarya region (12.6%). At the same time, high rates of grain ear production were noted in Fergana (11.5%), Kashkadarya (11.1%) and Andijan (10.6%) regions.
