In the Republic of Uzbekistan, in January-June 2021, 5,779 enterprises of the furniture industry produced products worth 1,062.7 billion soums. The index of the physical volume of the network compared to January - June 2020 amounted to 101.0%.
Products manufactured by furniture industry enterprises in 2021 (in terms of months):
- in January 109.5 billion soums (index of physical volume 96.3 percent);
- in January – February, 225.0 billion soums (94.2 percent);
- in January – March, 473.2 billion soums (99.3 percent);
- in January – April, 689.6 billion soums (108.1%);
- in January – May 823.4 billion soums (104.2 percent)
The largest share in the total volume of products manufactured by furniture industry enterprises in the republic fell on the city of Tashkent - 25.7% (1,331 furniture industry enterprises), Andijan region - 10.6% (567), Tashkent region - 9.4% (657).
