In total, in January-June 2021, 20,236 food processing enterprises in the republic produced products worth 21,885.8 billion soums.
The index of the physical volume of the network compared to January - June 2020 amounted to 105.0%.
The largest share in the total volume of products produced by food industry enterprises in the republic fell on the city of Tashkent - 15.6% (2 972 food industry enterprises), Tashkent region - 12.7% (2 144), Samarkand region - 11.2 % (2046).
