A seminar was held at the State Committee on Statistics on "Drug addiction destroys life." This event was organized in order to ensure the implementation of the program of measures for the implementation of state youth policy in the Goskomstat system for 2021.
The seminar was attended by young employees of the central office of the committee.
During the seminar, medical representative Shakhlo Mansurova, in her speech, emphasized that humanity is reaching new heights. However, there are still many factors in the world that threaten the future of nations and peoples. One of these risks is drug addiction. Interstate cooperation plays an important role in the fight against this disease, which has become a global problem.
More than 500 million people in the world suffer from drug addiction. Most of them are under 30 years old. More than 200 thousand people die from this every year. At the same time, 57% of all crimes committed in the world are drug addicts.
During the event, young people received answers to their questions. Lectures were given on how to encourage young people to spend their free time meaningfully, to improve their scientific potential and to exercise regularly.
