In January-June 2021, the GRP of the Surkhandarya region increased by 6.0%. In the structure of GRP, the growth rates of agriculture, forestry and fisheries amounted to 104.5 %, industry - 105.6 %, construction - 105.5 % and services - 108.0 %.
