As of September 1, 2021, the total number of enterprises and organizations operating in the republic (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) amounted to 527 853, an increase of 118.0 percent compared to the corresponding period last year. Of the total number of operating enterprises and organizations, 88.2 percent (465 361) were business entities.
