As of July 1, 2021, in all categories of farms in the Jizzakh region, the total number of cattle amounted to 895.6 thousand heads (101.9% in relation to July 1 2020), of which cows - 254.4 thousand heads (101.5%), sheep and goats - 2,213.9 thousand heads (101.6%), horses - 27.3 thousand heads (100.7%) and birds - 3,166.1 thousand heads (103.4%).
