According to the data of sample surveys of households by the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-August 2021, the structure of households by the number of children is: 76.2% of households have children under the age of 16, of which 24.1% have one child, 25.8% have two children, 18.3% have three children, and 7.9% have four or more children.
According to sample surveys, 23.8% of households do not have children under 16 years of age.
For reference: in 2000, 81.4% of households had children under the age of 16, and 18.6% of households did not have children under the age of 16.
