The Department for the Organization and Conduct of the Census Processes of the State Committee on Statistics organized a seminar on video conferencing with territorial statistical offices.
The seminar was attended by employees of territorial statistical offices, departments of the organization and conduct of census processes, as well as employees of district and city statistical departments.
The event discussed the shortcomings identified as a result of a comprehensive survey conducted in the regions, the shortcomings in the work carried out to prepare for the population census, the state of the campaigning and propaganda work carried out in the regions, the work carried out to update the maps of settlements and lists of households with clarification population size.
At the seminar, the level of knowledge of employees of regional statistical offices was assessed on the adopted regulatory and methodological documents for conducting a population census.
Goskomstat employees provided employees of territorial statistical offices with practical suggestions and recommendations.
