In January-June 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in industry in the Republic of Karakalpakstan amounted to 3 201.7 billion soums and, compared to the same period last year, increased by 7.2%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 31.3% and, compared to January-June 2020, increased by 1.3 percentage points.
