A video conference seminar was organized with the participation of the Head of Department of the CIS Statistical Committee I.A. Zbarskaya, international expert of the UN Population Fund G.V. Shcherbakova and head of the Department for Organization and Conduct of Census Processes of the State Committee on Statistics K.G. Berdikulov.
The seminar was attended by representatives of the Department of organization and conduct of registration processes of the State Committee on Statistics, employees of territorial departments of statistics, as well as regions where a pilot census is planned.
During the event, issues of preparation for a pilot population census, training of employees hired on a contract basis, careful preparation of them for registration and the correct filling of questionnaire forms were considered.
In addition, they discussed the ongoing work on the development of the program, which is being created for entering the primary data of the population census into the electronic database and forming the final data.
At the end of the event, appropriate recommendations were given on the timely and high-quality implementation of the tasks identified in the program of comprehensive measures for the preparation and conduct of the population census in 2023.
