According to the Goskomstat consumer price monitoring data, in September prices for potatoes increased by an average of 7.8% compared to August.
Interestingly, prices for potatoes since the beginning of the year in September have fallen in price by an average of 5.3%.
In January-July 2021, Uzbekistan imported 310.0 thousand tons of potatoes from 13 foreign countries in the amount of 35.4 million US dollars.
