According to the data of sample surveys of households by the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-September 2021, the average number of members of households in the Republic of Karakalpakstan was 5.3 people. At the same time, the structure of households by the number of its members is:
1.6 % of single-person households, 5.4 % of two-person households, 9.1 % of three-person households, 17.9 % of four-person households, 25.6 % households - of five people, and 40.4 % of households consist of six or more people.
