On October 12 this year, a video conference was organized jointly with the State Committee on Statistics and the Tashkent Financial Institute.
This online dialogue was attended by representatives of the Department of Organization and Methodology of Statistical Work, the Department of International Cooperation and Information Exchange of the State Committee on Statistics, faculty, researchers and students of the Tashkent Financial Institute.
First, the head of the Department of Organization and Methodology of Statistical Work, Dilshod Zakirov, made a presentation on the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Official Statistics".
During the presentation, detailed information was provided on the foundations for the development of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Official Statistics", on the international experience studied in the preparation of the draft law, as well as on the norms provided for by the new law.
Also, during the online dialogue, teachers and students of the Tashkent Financial Institute received detailed answers from the committee's specialists to their questions.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and hold such meetings on a regular basis.
