In January-June 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in construction in the Tashkent region amounted to 1 704.4 billion soums and, compared to the same period last year, increased by 17.2 %. 
In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 5.0 % and, compared to January-June 2020, increased by 0.3 percentage points, and compared to the corresponding period of 2017 by 2.3 percentage points.
