At the end of 2020, the total area of lands assigned to hunting in the republic amounted to 4 761.6 thousand hectares. When analyzing this indicator in the context of regions, 85.5 % of the total area fell on the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 6.5 % on the Tashkent region and 2.2 % on the Navoi region.
