According to the data of sample surveys of households by the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-September 2021, the average number of household members in the Syrdarya region was 5.4 people. At the same time, the structure of households by the number of its members is:
1.7% of single-person households, 4.5% of two-person households, 11.0% of three-person households, 18.9% of four-person households, 25.7% households - of five people, and 38.2% of households consist of six or more people.
