The Institute for Advanced Training of Personnel and Statistical Research under the State Committee on Statistics began trainings for interviewers and supervisors participating in Multi-Indicator Cluster Surveys.

Within the framework of the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 9, 2019 No. PP-4273 "On additional measures to ensure openness and transparency of public administration, as well as increasing the statistical potential of the country", as well as dated August 3, 2020 No. PP-4796 "On measures to further improvement and development of the national system of statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan ”, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted in accordance with Resolution No. 625 of July 24, the second stage of the“ Multi-Indicator Cluster Survey ”(MICS) is being held in the Republic to study the lifestyle of mothers and children according to the UNICEF method.

This observation is planned to continue from October of this year to the end of January 2022.

An announcement was posted on the committee's official website for the recruitment of volunteer applicants for the field survey, and staff were selected upon request.

From October 19 to November 6 this year, in the Tashkent region and the city of Tashkent, it is planned to conduct educational trainings and practical exercises on Multi-Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) in a test mode.

Representatives of State Commite on Statistics, coordinators of the UNICEF Office in Uzbekistan, international experts, selected interviewers and supervisors from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the city of Tashkent and regions take part in the training seminars currently being held.
