According to preliminary data from sample surveys of households by the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-September 2021, the structure of households in the Bukhara region by the number of children is:
76.9% of households have children under the age of 16, of which 27.8% have one child, 30.6% have two children, 14.8% have three children and 3.7% have four or more children.
According to sample surveys, 23.1% of households do not have children under 16 years of age.
