According to preliminary data from sample surveys of households by the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-September 2021, the structure of households in the Syrdarya region by the number of children is:
78.7% of households have children under the age of 16, of which 24.9% have one child, 26.3% have two children, 17.8% have three children and 9.7% have four or more children.
According to sample surveys, 21.3% of households do not have children under 16 years of age.
