In January-September 2021, the gross domestic product per capita in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 14,929.4 thousand soums and increased by 4.9% compared to the corresponding period last year.
High volumes of gross regional product (GRP) per capita were noted in Navoi region (41 128.6 thousand soums), Tashkent city (31 256.7 thousand soums) and Tashkent region (19 674.9 thousand soums). The smallest volumes of GRP per capita were observed in Surkhandarya (7,928 thousand soums), Namangan (8,352.5 thousand soums) and Fergana (8,740.1 thousand soums) regions.

In the current period, high growth rates of GRP per capita were recorded in Tashkent (111.5%), Syrdarya (109.6%) and Khorezm (106.9%) regions. At the same time, in Andijan (101.1%) and Jizzakh (104.4%) regions, the growth rate of GRP per capita was lower than the Republican level (104.9%).
