In order to fulfill the instructions established in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 3, No.PP-4796 "On measures to further improve and develop the national system of statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan", a seminar was organized by the State Committee on Statistics together with the Ministry of Agriculture.
This online seminar was attended by representatives of the State Committee on Statistics, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development, the State Committee on Forestry, the Council of Farmers, Dekhkan Farms and Owners of Home Lands of Uzbekistan, the Uzbekbaliksanoat and Uzparrandasanoat Associations , as well as their employees of territorial bodies, deputy khokims for agriculture and water management.
During the seminar, Deputy Chairman of Goskomstat A. Ikramov and Head of Department Sh. Gulomov elaborated on the sources of data for the formation of indicators on statistics of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, business entities submitting statistical reports on agriculture, as well as on the work carried out by the state statistics bodies in the field of ensuring openness, transparency of industry statistics and their compliance with international standards.
Also, the data of reports submitted by business entities for January-September of the current year and the results of the sample surveys have been comprehensively analyzed.
The questions and suggestions expressed by the participants of the online seminar were given exhaustive answers by the specialists of the sphere.
