November 18 - Day of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the State Flag"

The state flag is approved by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 18, 1991 No. 407 - XII "On the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and is a symbol of the state sovereignty of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The state flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan represents the Republic of Uzbekistan in the international arena: during visits of official delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan to foreign countries, international organizations, at conferences, world exhibitions, at sports competitions.
