In January-September 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the Jizzakh region amounted to 8 335.4 billion soums and, compared to the same period last year, increased by 4.0%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 53.7% and, compared to January-September 2020, increased by 0.9 percentage points.
