In January-September 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the Surkhandarya region amounted to 10,168.8 billion soums and, compared to the same period last year, increased by 6.1%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 48.6% and, compared to January-September 2020, increased by 0.4 percentage points.
