As of October 1, 2021, in all categories of farms in the Fergana region, the total number of cattle amounted to 1,043.0 thousand heads (103.6% compared to October 1, 2020), of which 378.5 thousand heads are cows (104.1%), sheep and goats - 887.9 thousand heads (102.9%), horses - 9.4 thousand heads (103.8%) and birds - 8,893.6 thousand heads (107 .0 %).
