In January-September 2021, all categories of farms in the Surkhandarya region produced 608.3 thousand tons of grain crops (100.2% compared to the same period in 2020), dug up 287.4 thousand tons of potatoes (100.3%), 837 .7 thousand tons of vegetables (103.2%), 198.0 thousand tons of melons (101.2%), 119.3 thousand tons of fruits and berries (102.5%) and 87.1 thousand tons of grapes (108.5%).
