On January 19 of this year, a meeting was held at the State Statistics Committee with the project coordinator L.Kachkinbayeva within the framework of the International Labor Organization project “Transition from the informal economy to the formal one”.
The goal of the ILO project "Transition from the informal economy to the formal economy" is to increase the capacity of international organizations and national partners to adequately protect workers in the informal economy through their direct participation in the development of sustainable policies, taking into account the interests of workers in various forms of work in Uzbekistan.
This meeting was attended by employees of the central office of the State Statistics Committee. The meeting discussed issues of informal employment and the formation of statistical indicators of employment in the informal sector.
In addition, the State Statistics Committee considered the issue of providing statistical data within the framework of the above project.
