At the end of 2021, the share of transportation and storage in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 5.5%.
In the structure of the gross value added of the transportation and storage industry, the largest share fell on road transport - 59.3% (in 2020 - 57.0%, in 2019 - 52.6%).
Pipeline transport amounted to 14.4% (in 2020 - 16.8%, in 2019 - 18.3%), railway transport - 10.9% (in 2020 - 13.6%, in 2019 - 11, 9%), auxiliary transport activities - 10.7% (in 2020 - 9.4%, in 2019 - 11.1%), air transport - 4.7% (in 2020 - 3.2%, in 2019 - 6.1%) of the total value added of this industry.
