In January-December 2021, all categories of farms produced 2,640.4 thousand tons of meat (in live weight), 11,286.9 thousand tons of milk, 8,053.1 million eggs, 22.8 thousand tons of cocoon .
Analyzing the regions with the largest share of livestock production, it should be noted that in the republic of the total production:
- meat 11.8 % falls on the share of Kashkadarya (310.8 thousand tons);
- milk 11.8 % - Samarkand (1,337.1 thousand tons);
- eggs 18.0 % - Tashkent (1,450.6 million pieces);
- cocoons 13.0 % - Samarkand (3.0 thousand tons) regions.
