According to preliminary data from sample household surveys of the State Statistics Committee, as of January-December 2021, the structure of households in Kashkadarya region in terms of the number of children is: 73.7% of households have children under the age of 16, of which 22.0% have one child , 26.6% have two children, 17.9% have three children and 7.2% have four or more children. According to sample surveys, 26.3% of households do not have children under 16 years of age.
