According to preliminary data from sample household surveys of the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-December 2021, the structure of households in the Khorezm region in terms of the number of children is:
77.6% of households have children under the age of 16, of which 22.7% have one child, 30.9% have two children, 18.2% have three children, and 5.8% have four or more children.
According to sample surveys, 22.4% of households do not have children under 16 years of age.
