As of January 1, 2022, in all categories of farms in the Bukhara region, the total number of cattle amounted to 1,284.9 thousand heads (103.0% compared to January 1, 2021), of which 421.9 thousand heads are cows (103.5%), sheep and goats - 2,303.3 thousand heads (102.8%), horses - 6.8 thousand heads (112.0%) and birds - 5,923.5 thousand heads ( 102.5%).
